Publix’s recruiting department wished to leverage social media avenues, including Facebook and a new blog, to extend their digital reach beyond the traditional website. Rare Medium provided user experience design and implementation services for the Facebook presence and a new careers blog. On Facebook, Publix Careers staff use articles, critical openings, recruiting events, photos, and other posts to create a conversation with their subscribers. The blog content is also available.
The recruiting blog is the first step in Publix’s long-term strategy to build a cohesive blog presence.
