Research and analysis spanned both end users and Publix stakeholders including business areas, IT, brand, and others. Activities included stakeholder interviews, competitor/best practices analysis, customer focus groups, web analytics, user goals and archetypes, feature value analysis, card sort study, and a technology evaluation. The final report provides:

  • a phased roadmap of features and functionality that address requirements while remaining technically and financially achievable
  • an assessment of key technology services providers
  • a proposed high-level technical architecture
